An A4 page at 300 DPI is about 2480 × 3508 pixels. Higher DPI means bigger files and more memory, so convert long documents at 150 DPI unless you need print quality.

Why are some fonts different?
PDFs that do not embed their fonts are drawn with a similar font. Desktop editors behave the same way.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
Not here. Open it with the password in your PDF app and save an unprotected copy first.
